strange, but fitting beginning

there is nothing to say bad about this song at all. anyone who vote less than 3 needs their hearing checked.

5\5 10\10 incredible!

dude! WOW!

no, its not even close to the original. which is good cause if it sounded like the original i would have gotten bored and left without leaving a review to say that you need to FINISH this! the notes for the melody dont have to be perfect, after all, it is a remix. i really like the rhythm! the mastering needs a little work. and please get another snare(preferably a better sub-snare), the sample that your using just is just so overused....lol. i really like the way you used the piano in this remix!

anyway,
5\5 9\10 thanks for adding some originality to your remix. keep it up!

GrayZ responds:

Yeahh I am trying to make it sound as far away from the original as I can but maintaining the rhythm :P Thanks so much for the awesome review and I will get to work on that sub snare :)

It hasn't been mastered at all yet, just volume mastered. Ill try keep the standards up :D

well not bad

the beginning was amazing. the beats were good. but the bass.,., well, it needs to be grittier(does that make sense?). it might also give more texture to the song if you were to add a cool gate to it so it feels a little less repetitive.

5\5 8\10 nice!

very nice

so lets see...the only thing that really needs work is the piano in the beginning. if i did what zer0 bombers do and rate a song by the way the first 10 seconds sound, i would have voted zero also. fortunately i don't do that, cause if i did i would have missed out on i really nice piece!

now, i think that if you were to add some more reverb and maybe a small delay effect to the piano, you would have a better chance of people listening to the entire song and not just the first ten seconds. because right now the piano sounds really flat and uninteresting in the beginning. other than at the start of the song the piano sounds fine though.

5\5 9\10 amazing!

Hm.... I really hadn't thought of that, but THANKS A LOT!

Will do, I'm probably gonna make another version and edit this one... Thanks a lot again ^^

Rock On!!

nice!

this is great! drums definitely need more "umpth" though. the synth that comes in at 3:01 might sounds better if a reverb effect was added.

5/5 9/10 nice!!

EyeRideCloud responds:

Thanks for the kind words man :)

Yeah still trying to get used to the finer details of logic. I should just get off my ass, watch some tutorials and pimp the drums up haha :P

nice

now i kinda want to go to a cafe and get a cup of coffee lol.

B-RadGfromOV responds:

it makes you want coffee?

so uh...

why?

not bad

only thing that needs to be changed in my opinion are the chords. nothing huge, its just that hey sound to..,thick? maybe less notes being played at a time.

5/5 8/10 cool

Halindir responds:

Thank you DjClyme, for the review :)

The thickness of the sound is part of the atmosphere i aimed for - but i'll try out your advice, just to see the effect

Glad you liked it!
