lol nice

you should definitely finish it! i tried to remix this once, but got bored and never went back and worked on it. lol

not bad

my thoughts about this:

0:00 - 0:41 good intro. maybe a little lengthy, but not to the point of being annoying. the drum sample with the delay effect is annoying though. if you were to turn the cutoff on the delay effect down it wouldn't get so annoying. changing the reverb effect might sound nice to.

0:41 - 1:21 great buildup! nothing needs to be changed there.

1:21 - 9:21 so basically the rest of the song. mastering on the drums needs a little work. the kick drum needs a little more,..,backbone?..to it. lead synth's pretty amazing! bass might need just a little more sub.

the song does get somewhat repetitive over the full 9:21 seconds. shortening some of the buildups may help with this problem.

5/5 9/10 nice!

so..

overall, not bad. the one issue, is that "high pitched frequency". if your going to use something as loud at that. then it has got to be mastered much more.

other then that, not bad!

5/5 8/10 cool! yet very eerie...

ParagonOfDolor responds:

It's meant to be a piercing sound that red lines. In an early version of this song it was even louder and higher to the point it was distorted and would drown out the other sounds, but it was a bit too much. Thank you for the feedback.

you did good...

more like great!

here are some things that stand out to me:

the strings. their amazing. what i was really glad to hear was that the attack wasn't so bad that it caused them to sound off beat.

the percussion. overall,..,amazing! the one bass drum sample may need to be mastered a little more though. i feel like it interferes with the lower section of the string ensemble.

i love the those vocals at 1:38. i think that they could be turned up so their a little more noticeable.

good climax to the song.

a lot of times when people make classical pieces, the ending is often to sudden. but you did really well with the end of this song!

overall, incredible! i enjoyed "every second of it!"

5/5 10/10 the work you put into this had definitely paid off! :)

Thank you VERY VERY much for your review!

Well, I had a little problem with the Timpani, because in some sections it was too loud, in others too low. But I will be more careful in the next one, thanks.

Also, the voices, I really tried, but they were at max volume and everything, and yet they weren't audible enough. I'll probably remaster it and upload again soon.

Well, thank you very much for the compliments and critics!

Rock On!!

wooaahh

man I'm glad i decided to listen to this! definitely worth it! great work!

5/5 10/10 amazing!

seatellite responds:

thanks man!

well

so...really the only annoying think about this is your bass. its sequenced well, but it needs to be less... choatic and repetitive. i think if you were to have more chord changes and add a melody this wouldnt get zero bombed so badly.

anyway, 5/5 8/10 {2.51 / 5.00 (+ 0.70)} not bad! :)

thx for review i apreciate that, and i will sure make some WIP and use some of the advices;)

nice

overall, really good! your transitions need to be a little more noticeable.

5/5 9/10 nice!

Thanks for the review, I'll keep that in mind.

my thoughts...

well. heres some "constructive criticism" for you. xD

0:00 - 0:27 amazing build up! a little to fast for house though. it sound more like dance to me.

0:27 - 0:54 there are a couple issues. you need a stronger bass synth, preferably one with more sub. it also sounds a little out of place cause it sounds more like dubstep style bass.

0:54 - 1:22 you need more atmosphere to this. i would suggest adding a nice pad with a side-chaining effect.

1:22 - 1:37 i just noticed something else with the bass. it would be a lot better to have it playing on the down beat so that its not playing on the same beat as the kick.

1:37 - 2:59 basically same issues as above. love the vocals lol

anyway, 5/5 8/10 not to bad for first attempt ;)

thanks for the advices :)
i will think about them and learn from them in my future productions :)

a few issues..

overall, not bad!

my thoughts:

change the hi-hat samples. the ones your using don't really mesh well with the rest of the song.

rearrange the build ups. their a bit to sudden. also theres to many of them. with as many as you have in this song, it begins to sound a little,..,loose maybe? that probably doesn't make much sense lol. i guess what im trying to say is that, there doesn't seem to be really in climax to the song. it just sort of drones on.

the pad at 1:18. seems a little off beat. i think this could be due to the amount of attack that it has. i would suggest turning it down a little. also, it seems to come in a little suddenly. it might sound better if you where to have it fade in rather than being so sudden.

the bass is nice. a little more sub could be added to it though.

anyway, 5/5 8/10 {3.56 / 5.00 (+ 0.60) } not bad! :)

riptide11 responds:

wow thanks for the feedback hahah your the first person who actually knows about music. yeah this is still a work in progress. yeah i agree with you on the hi hat and the pad that you hear is just a thing i put in place of the pad that you hear with the piano. You seem to know a lot about music if you use fl studio or ablelton live message me, and maybe we could collaborate on a song.

my thoughts...

impressive intro!

really good build up to 00:55

at 1:10 the kick seems a little clicky sounding. this could be due to the bitrate though. i would also suggest making it a little more audible.

the synths are really nice. the lead synth in particular.

the fading in and fading out of the synths are amazing!

so far, its not to lengthy.

i don't know if you've mastered this yet. but it sounds like you have.

i cant wait to hear the full version of this!

5/5 9\10 epic trance! keep up the good work! :)

DJ~CLYME

TomDavies responds:

Thank you! The pads and leads are from AnjunaBeats them selves! They're the official ones you hear on major Trance tunes :)

I thought the same for the kick, making it a little bit more meaty for the final version.

Many thanks!
